Tfue, one of the biggest gamers on the planet, accuses FaZe Clan of an oppressive contract and pure exploitation. FaZe Clan fires back that Tfue is making things up to get out of the contract so he can start his own eSports company. Tfue not only files suit in Los Angeles, but also filed a petition with the California Labor Commission, arguing that FaZe Clan should be regulated like a talent agency. The outcome of that petition could have wide ranging implications for all of eSports.

Correct me if I’m wrong but read before you sign anything TFu ya fool
“This contract that I signed” seriously bro? Get over it. Ride it out.

"We-EEEE are never ever ever getting back together"
So for anyone wanting an update: Faze did countersue in New York.
A California judge dismissed Tfue's suit.
They settled before going to trial, the terms of which were not released.
Sounds to me like Tfue didn't actually have a case after all and Faze was the one acting in good faith, though that original contract does seem onerous.
Takes me back to Business Law.
12:22 Not sure what the graphic represents, that is Jack Tenney(JOOG Squad) on the left (before) and Turner Tenney(TFue) on the right(after)
The only video in which everyone EXCEPT the lawyer seem pretty punchable.
tfue sounds shit
Nice this case 2 youngsters learning how to do business. Both making mistakes
cover twin galaxies vs billy mitchell
This is espot thing is BS
With zero legal background whatsoever, I’d rule with FaZe Clan. He signed a contract, they showed due diligence and willingness to renegotiate. On paper I’d support FaZe.
If I was a competing company, I wouldn’t touch TFue because of his conduct under one contract. As far as the “pressure to drink and gamble.” I doubt that officials from Faze were the ones pressuring, likely team mates, and it probably didn’t take that much
Cry baby doesn’t like his work contract and thinks 3 years is a long time. Boo-hoo
I don’t like Fortnite really and I’m glad I didn’t get into it because it seems rather teeth grindingly cringy to me, and if you are not being unbearable then you are being extremely toxic as you are bullying teammates because they were not good enough, or at least that’s how it is with some competitive people
Is that it? Three years? He is whining and saying he is oppressed over a three year contract?
Huh Faze seems to be in the right TBH
Considering the statement Faze Clan made about what they received and exercised of the contract by their own admission they have failed to enforce the contract. I can't remember the legal term for when a party fails to enforce the contract and that becomes the expected. It can make the contract unenforceable.
I think sports players should be held to their contracts. Look at Marshawn Lynch. Great player but breached his contract just because he could, and because the team needed him. He wouldn't talk at press meetings, or do many other things he promised to do if they paid him. He accepted the money and Super Bowl or not, he should have been made to honor his contract. People like him set a terrible example.
the fact this guy can say "gamer agreement" without laughing is amazing
FaZe clan encourages the use of cheats and hacks by its members. It is named after a popular piece of game hacking software. They should be banned from all competitive play.
well he's right, he's an idiot and should have read what he was signing.
everyone getting payed to play games and make videos can just stop complaining about problems common to most jobs…
if you looked up lawyer in the dictionary, i think you would find a photo of this guy 🙂 love the work dude
This contract is no longer advantageous to me, therefore it is invalid.
