Florida Keys Community College opened its new state-of-the-art Marine Technology Building on the Key West Campus May 6, 2014. Overlooking the dive training lagoon, the $7 million, 30,000 square-foot facility provides an enhanced learning environment for students, particularly those training in one of the College’s signature programs: Marine Engineering, Management and Seamanship.
“This building represents a new era for the marine engineering program at FKCC.”
-Dr. Patrick Rice, Dean of Career Technical and Workforce Education .
